The RKC Is Moving Forward
For more than 25 years, the Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) has helped set the standard for kettlebell education and coaching around the world.
Now, the RKC is entering its next chapter.
Following the closing of Dragon Door, Marco Guanilo has taken over the RKC in the United States, with a clear goal: preserve what made the RKC special while continuing to improve and evolve the system for today's coaches.
Together with Coach Dan John and the RKC Board of Masters, we are rebuilding the curriculum from the ground up without walking away from the history that got us here.
The result is a clearer path through the RKC system:
HKC → RKC → RKC 2 → Advanced Leadership
The newly redesigned HKC is now the starting point for all new RKC candidates in the United States.
This one-day certification establishes the fundamentals of Hardstyle kettlebell training and, more importantly, teaches you how to safely and effectively coach those movements with others.
From there, each level builds upon the last.
No more jumping blindly into the system. We want to give you a clear path and the tools to follow it.
Same RKC. Next Generation.
We are not trying to erase the past or create something completely different.
We are taking more than two decades of experience, listening to the coaches who helped build the RKC, cutting away what no longer serves us and strengthening the things that made the system great in the first place.
The course structure may continue to evolve.
The standards will not.
