1-Day RKC Re-certification - Tallahassee, FL - November 8th, 2026
RKC One-Day Re-Certification
The RKC One-Day Re-Certification is designed for current and former RKC instructors who want to renew their certification and become proficient in the updated RKC system.
This is not a compressed version of the full RKC Level One course. You already have the foundation. This day is about recalibrating your skills, sharpening your coaching, and bringing you up to speed with the current One Hand, One Bell curriculum.
The course places special emphasis on the Get Back Up, a movement many returning instructors may not have previously learned. We use it to restore confident movement from the floor and build directly into the weighted Turkish get-up.
Throughout the day, you will revisit and refine:
-
Get Back Up and Turkish get-up progressions
-
One-hand deadlift
-
One-arm and hand-to-hand swings
-
Single-hand clean and clean variations
-
Single-arm front squat
-
Strict press and push press
-
Loaded carries
-
High pull and snatch
-
Single-sided alignment and the Chin–Sternum–Zipper line
-
Current RKC coaching and assessment methods
You will also work with the updated RKC coaching frameworks:
-
Movement → Position → Load
-
Observe → Cue → Practice → Reassess
The course itself is the test. Candidates are evaluated throughout the day through technical demonstrations, drills, partner coaching, and reassessment. You must demonstrate the tested skills on both sides using your assigned technical testing weight while meeting current technical, coaching, and professional standards.
There is no entrance push-up test, timed 100-repetition Snatch Test, or replacement conditioning event. The focus is on skill, control, coaching ability, and your capacity to respond to instruction.
Under the RKC Clean Slate policy, any former RKC instructor may attend, regardless of how long their certification has been expired. Candidates who successfully demonstrate the current standards will renew their RKC certification.
Return to the system, reconnect with the RKC community, and leave prepared to teach the current RKC Level One curriculum with confidence.
